Student life at Biondi
We catch kids when they’re doing something good!
Children love attention, and sometimes they act out so they are noticed. But at Biondi, we make sure to pay attention when children do something good. We use the evidenced-based Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) framework to teach and promote positive behavior in youth.
Students can earn up to 36 credits daily for being respectful, staying on task, acting safely, and being responsible. We have a system where we turn those credits into “points.” Every Friday afternoon (or last day of the school week), students have an opportunity to use their points to “purchase” small toys, games, and notions in the school store to take home. (P.S.: We always welcome donations to our store!)
The talented members of the Biondi Chorus and the Biondi Guitar Club put on regular performances throughout the year. Both parents and students look forward to hearing their holiday, end-of-the-year, and graduation ceremony performances.
We proudly celebrate Biondi Hispanic Heritage Month and National Black History Month with special programs and projects. We also honor outstanding students and their parents with Student of the Month assemblies.
